Methodology

How Wellnessvalue Works

The standards we aim to follow when we choose sources, check claims, build tools and correct mistakes.

  1. Step 1Source from recognized public bodies
  2. Step 2Check claims, numbers and context
  3. Step 3Publish with limits stated
  4. Step 4Correct openly when needed

Our Editorial Purpose

Health information is everywhere, and much of it is hard to weigh. Our purpose is to explain wellness topics clearly, show where an idea comes from, and say how far it can be trusted, so readers can ask better questions.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are meant to stay separate from promotional messaging. We do not publish briefs to sell a product, and any future sponsored material would be labeled and kept apart from journal content.

Research Sourcing

When a brief makes a factual health claim, we aim to rely on recognized public-health agencies, peer-reviewed research and reputable clinical institutions, and to link to them. Briefs without outside sources say so.

Fact-Checking Protocol

Before publication, our commitment is to check each claim against its source, confirm numbers and units, note who was studied, and separate association from cause. Where findings are uncertain, the text says so. This is an editorial process, not a team of credentialed reviewers.

Evidence Standards

Established

Findings repeated across well-designed studies and reflected in public-health guidance.

Emerging

Early or limited research. Interesting, but not yet a basis for firm advice.

Uncertain

Mixed or thin evidence. We describe the disagreement instead of picking a side.

Our Approach

Calculator Methodology

Each tool lists its inputs, shows its formula and explains its limits. Scores summarize what you enter. They are not clinical measurements and do not predict outcomes.

Editorial Standards

Corrections and Updates

When an error is reported or guidance changes, we aim to check the source, correct the text and note what changed. Send the page, claim and source through our contact page.

Transparency

What We Do Not Promise

We do not diagnose, prescribe treatment, guarantee results or replace a qualified professional. We do not claim licensed medical staff, clinical oversight, certifications or partnerships.

Accountability

Reader Trust and Accountability

Trust is earned through visible sources, clear limitations, disclosed formulas and a correction path. If something falls short of these commitments, tell us.
